MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
Welcome to the 2009 season, we hope all teams have an enjoyable and successful season. This year sees the introduction of the Optus Small Sided Football for age groups U/6, U/7 and U/8. All participants are urged to keep in contact with their clubs so that these games can proceed in an organised Manner. This site will show the Draw and results for the U/9 Competition.

WET WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
In the event of wet weather clubs will inform the association as per the guidlines. All information will be collated and placed on the wet weather telephone Number as follows after 7:30 am.

COACH & MANAGER ID CARDS
All clubs in our zone should have obtained Coach and Manager ID cards form Macquarie Football . These ID cards are to be worn at games please ensure your coaches and managers wear them while in the bench and technical area. Not wearing these tags may result in you being asked to leave the field by officials.
Reminder only the coach, manager and players actually signed on the team sheet are permitted to be on the bench and technical area, no one else is permitted to be in any of these areas.
DUTY OFFICER REQUIREMENTS
All clubs are required to have a duty officer click on the vest to view the requirements and a list of key responsibilities that the Duty officers are required to perform.

ACADEMY IDENTIFICATION CLINIC JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS U8'S & U9'S
Macquarie Academy is the Macquarie Football Zone official training Academy the Academy offers player the pathway to Representative football and furthur their football careers for more info see our website click the Academy logo above.
An identification clinic will be held in the second week of the July School Holidays from Monday the 20th of July through to Thursday the 23rd July.
To all clubs the information regarding this identification clinic has been forwarded to all secretaries please ensure the information is passed on to your under 8 and under 9 teams who may not use or have access to the internet. this is a good opertunity for these players to be identified for development programs and enter into the pathway to representative football in our zone and region.

The Good sports program has been adopted by some clubs in our zone. The program is an initative of the Australian Drug Foundation(ADF) to develop safer and healthier communities. The program helps sporting clubs manage alcohol problems and underage drinking and drug abuse as well as healthier eating and canteen choices.

NORTHERN NSW FOOTBALL
Is celebrating 125 years involvment in Football, to mark this milestone they are seeking memorabilia and old photo's.
All players (Participants) must be Registered with FFA before they are allowed to compete in any fixture organised by Macquarie Football.
All clubs registrars are asked to supply Macquarie football office with your updated player disk for us to finalise all the registrations, We need this asap.
At This stage (possibly late June/July) all Players (Participants) will be required to go online and register with FFA in their Database system, your Club will advise when this process is required to be done.
