Wet Weather Numbers



In the event of wet weather clubs will inform the  association  as  per  the  guidlines. All  information will be collated and placed on the wet weather telephone Number as follows after 7:30 am.

For all games  in the Macquarie District please call  PH  1900 920 223 (AFTER 7:30am)


   

  

Coach & Manager ID


All clubs in our zone should have obtained Coach and Manager ID cards form Macquarie Football . These ID cards are to be worn at games please ensure your coaches and  managers wear them while in the bench and  technical area. Not wearing these tags may result in you being asked to leave the field by officials.
 
Reminder  only the coach, manager and players actually signed on the team sheet  are permitted  to be on  the bench and  technical area, no one else is permitted to be in any of these areas.

 

New Coaching Programs

FFA are making changes to the coaching education programs to make them more flexible  and more available to clubs and coaches this includes an online coaching  resource  as more information becomes available we willsend out to all MFL Clubs.

Academy Coaches Wanted


We are looking for  Coaches for Macquarie Academy Ideally you will hold a youth license or  a junior license,however we will take playing experience into consideration and assist suitable persons to obtain a Junior and or Youth license.

Macquarie Academy is the Macquarie Football Zone official training Academy, the Academy offers player the pathway to Representative football and furthur their football careers for more info see our website click the Academy logo above.
 
 

ALL AGE REFEREE REQUIREMENT

     Clubs  with All Age Teams in 2010 have been requested  to supply at least 1 person per All Age Team to under go a club referees course prior commenement of the 2010 season.

The referee course for these persons will be conducted at Macquarie complex  located at Speers point. It will be a two day course as follows ;-

9th March      6pm to 830pm
10th March   6pm to 830pm

PLease advise the MFL office of the people that will be attending this course from your club.asap.

NNSWF is staging a series of free, interactive club training seminars conducted by the NSW Sports Federation throughout Northern NSW, which will focus on conflict resolution and volunteer recruitment








The Good sports program as been adopted by some clubs in our zone. The program is an initative of the Australian Drug Foundation(ADF) to develop safer and healthier communities.The program helps sporting clubs manage alcohol problems and underage drinking and drug abuse as  well as healthier eating and canteen choices. click the logo for more information.

 
                        
 This is a great program run By Hyundai Motor Company and the Hyundai A League.

If you need equipment for your club contact the merchandise store at Northern NSW they offer some of the cheapest prices on all football gear from balls cloths  training equipment all money from the sale of this equipment goes back into our zone so its win win..

   

 Goalpost safety is an issue clubs should   not take lightly click on the goals above for important infomation on goalposts.


 

Duty Officer Requirements



   

All clubs are required to have a duty officer click on the vest to view the requirements and a list of key responsibilities  that the Duty officers are required to perform.
